Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from New York University. She taught kindergarten and second grade reading in New York at The Hewitt School, an independent K-12 college preparatory school for girls.

Lynn Rubin

Managing Member

Lynn holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She is certified in elementary education and special education.

Trey Chavez

Creative Director

As Creative Director, Trey Chavez designs illustrations and animations, as well as coordinates all artwork for You TELL Me Stories. Trey studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently enrolled in the Visualization Department ‘s degree program at Texas A&M University. Passionate about children’s picture books, Trey has illustrated several ebooks for ipad, iphone, iPod touch and Android platforms.

Jeff Faris

Director of Technology

Jeff is a software and systems engineer having worked for companies such as IBM, HP, and LexusNexus. A love of computers since early childhood inspired Jeff to become an expert in Unix and Windows operating systems and software engineering aspects. Developing within Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms, Jeff creates the applications’ designs and specifications for You TELL Me Stories. He lives in Denver, Colorado, and looks forward to sharing You TELL Me Stories with his new daughter.
